The Aboriginal Chamber of Commerce is pleased to have so many giving and generous members. Many of our members are already active donors and participants in the community. Now, as a business association, our members further radiate that sense of community duty through the Chamber itself. Our first community fundraising event was held in December 2005.

The President's Gathering was a partnership between United Way Winnipeg and the Aboriginal Chamber of Commerce to raise money for a new community initiative aimed at raising the self-esteem, self-confidence and sense of value of young Aboriginal girls. The program, "Empowering Our Little Sisters," was the recipient of fundraising efforts at the President's Gathering held in December.
